Woolworths Landcare Grant

This project is funded by Landcare Australia and Woolworths through the Sustainable Farming Grant. The project provides for funding to re-engage dairy farmers in the Rockhampton Dairying Better ‘n Better for Tomorrow group in the continuous improvement cycle of the program (On the Moo’ve).
This project aims to improve soil health and nutrient use efficiency on Central Queensland dairy farms through participation and sharing in the Rockhampton Dairying Better ‘n Better for Tomorrow group. This will be achieved by assisting farmers to conduct a DairySAT risk assessment, produce farm maps, develop Soil and Nutrient Management Plans and to implement on-ground soil and nutrient management projects to address identified priority risks.
