Irrigation Scheduling Equipment Scheme
|
The DFWP program is providing an Irrigation Scheduling Equipment Scheme to dairy farmers & commercial fodder producers who are considering adopting scheduling tools to increase performance on their low pressure system. The scheme will provide eligible producers with a 12 month loan of scheduling equipment, along with assistance to install equipment, and demonstration on how to use the equipment. The equipment will assist producers to irrigate pastures and crops effectively.
All Queensland dairy and commercial fodder producers are encouraged to take part in the program, and can do so by contacting the QDO on (07) 3236 2955, or by email reception@dairypage.com.au for more information.
The program is funded through the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management’s Rural Water Use Efficiency and South East Queensland Irrigation Futures program, and is supported by the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, Queensland.
