Subtropical Dairy invites farmers to attend on-farm sessions focused on getting the best out of young dairy stock.
The workshop is an interactive discussion about raising healthy, contented dairy calves. It is designed for calf-rearers and farm managers who are looking to take their pre-weaning calf management to the next level. The care you provide for your calves from the start of life is critical to their health and growth rates. Calfhood events also affect the efficiency and lifetime production of your future milking herd.
Veterinarian Dr Justin Schooth, Gympie Veterinary Services, will facilitate this calf and heifer management session, taking you through some of the most important stages in raising calves that thrive.
