Wondering what to do with your effluent? Do you have unanswered questions or problems around how to maintain your system?
The key speaker for the field day is Mick O’Keefe (DPIVic), an Effluent System Designer and expert in effluent management. Mick will utilise the host farms system as a basis of providing information about effluent management and reuse systems.
This field day is for you if you are looking for:
- options for upgrading or installing an effluent system - this field day will enable you to look at a current system in operation and provide you with alternative options also.
- cost benefit of effluent management and reuse ($)
- information on how to solve some management issues around maintenance and application (ie crusting, anaerobic ponds)
Effluent is not just an environmental issue we must manage, it also provides for a great source of nutrients and a fantastic soil conditioner.
