QDO / WFI Insurance Alliance

The QDO is able to provide an incentive to Financial Members who choose to insure with WFI.

The incentive will be by way of a direct payment to financial members who insure with WFI and renew their insurance at their next anniversary date.

The incentive will be paid by cheque to members as a membership fee discount and is based on a percentage of the net premium paid and equates to:

To be eligible for the rebate from QDO the member must

1) Be a financial member of Queensland Dairyfarmers Organisation
2) Have joined the QDO/WFI insurance alliance
3) Having renewed their policy after joining the scheme the member will be eligible for the rebate on renewing the policy at the end of a full 12 months with the QDO/WFI scheme.

These rebates will only be available to financial members of the QDO and will be paid after renewal of their policies with WFI each year.

Example: Farm Policy taken out with WFI in June 2009. When this policy is renewed on the due date 30th June 2010, the incentive for the 2009 year will then be paid. Should the policy be cancelled or taken out with another company prior to, or at the time of renewal then no incentive is paid. Of course if the member ceases to be a financial member of the QDO, then no incentive applies.

Should a non financial member wish to insure with WFI, there will be no membership fee rebate paid unless they become financial members of the QDO within the period of insurance cover.
